Tamariz Rent a Car: Full Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tamariz Rent a Car. By renting a vehicle with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Rental Requirements

  • A valid and up-to-date driving license is mandatory.
  • The client must present a valid credit card in the name of the contract holder upon vehicle collection.
  • A valid identification document (Passport, Citizen Card, or ID Card) is mandatory.
  • The minimum age for the client is 21 years old (or as per local legislation).

 Reservation and Payment

  • Vehicle reservation is guaranteed upon prior payment or presentation of a valid credit card.
  • The total rental amount must be paid upon vehicle collection, unless otherwise agreed.

Vehicle Use

  • The vehicle must be used responsibly and in accordance with local traffic laws.
  • The use of the vehicle for illegal activities, transport of illegal cargo, or unauthorized passenger transport for additional fees is prohibited.
  • Any alteration of the vehicle’s characteristics and/or removal of any integral part of the vehicle is prohibited.

Assistance and Support

  • In case of accident or breakdown, 24-hour assistance is always available. The assistance number will be provided upon vehicle handover.

 Responsibility and Insurance Exclusions

  • The client is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period, as well as for fines, fees, or infractions incurred during its use.
  • Our vehicle has basic insurance coverage; additional insurance options are available for an extra fee.
  • Insurance does not cover damage or acts resulting from negligence, such as:
    • Damage to the clutch due to improper use.
    • Damage to the vehicle’s interior.
    • Loss of keys.
    • Loss of vehicle documentation.
    • Damage to the engine sump/oil pan.
    • Fuel mix-up (putting the wrong type of fuel in the tank).

Vehicle Return

  • The vehicle must be returned at the agreed location and time, in the condition it was delivered, with all documents, and with the original fuel level.
  • Any delay or additional damage may incur extra charges.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made within the stipulated period may receive a full or partial refund, according to our policy.
  • Cancellations made after the established period may be subject to fees.

General Provisions

We reserve the right to refuse rental or terminate the contract at any time in case of violation of these Terms and Conditions.

  • This contract is governed by local laws, and any disputes will be processed in the competent court.

By proceeding with the rental, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept all terms established herein.
